Do I have to donate to GrifballHub?
You don’t have to. Donating to GrifballHUB is certainly not something we require nor expect from our readers. We’ll continue to spend the time that we do bringing you content related to the game you love, free of charge. We created this site because we love grifball. When it comes to gaming online, it’s our addiction. It’s a game which we believe has a future and can continue to evolve and become increasingly popular thanks to its constantly growing community.

Then why should I donate to GrifballHub?
Think of it as a way of saying thanks and that you appreciate all the time and effort we put into the Hub each day. Not only that, money received from donations can and will go towards making the Hub a better place.

What would you use our donation money for?
Before we answer that, let’s consider one big thing – bandwidth. Bandwidth isn’t unlimited, even when hosting providers say it is. We’d love to host more video here on the hub, especially full length game films, but the amount of bandwidth required to do so would likely making our hosting provider rather unhappy. It’s understandable. Not only do video streams require a large amount of bandwidth, but it can also be taxing on a web server, when many readers are viewing content at the same time. A good solution would be a premium video hosting account on one of the many providers on the internet. It would allow us to upload and stream much larger and longer films from their servers, thus reducing the strain such a thing would put on our servers.

Donations to the Hub would also be used to help provide prizes for future tournaments and competitions.
