Yes, definitely go for the rail system. We used it quite often if I remember correctly.

No, it's not that bad. As long as you get there early and know where you're going, it's generally an easy airport to navigate and fly out of.

Here's the information on the Central Link light rail. There's a station at the airport, and then the terminus station is Westlake, where you want to get off for the convention center. It's at 4th Ave & Pine St, three blocks away from the convention center. Looks like the fare is currently $2.75 one-way.

It's best to do the unlimited use pass thingy they have. I think it was a 7 day pass or something like that.

Light rail = AWESOME! Used it last year. It was smooth sailing. Drops you off right next to the center and all of the nearby hotels. Just be sure to know where you're going. I'll be honest and say I was lost for probably over a half and hour last year trying to find the hotel when it was right next to me... (dumb blond moment)

Yes, the light rail is definitely the best way to go. It costs something like $2 vs a $60 cab ride.

Oh, on the subject of cabs, another option is the Shuttle Express, which is a shared-ride van service. Not anywhere as cheap as the light rail, but I'll throw it out there anyway, in case the light rail isn't an option for some people. Transportation to downtown hotels is $19 for the first rider, and $8 each additional. I've used this service since I don't live near the light rail, and it's less expensive than a taxi.

I've been through many many airports in multiple different countries and SeaTac is by far one of the easier ones to get around in. The fact that the light rail dumps off right outside the airport makes it even better.

Brisbane airport probably only beats it out because the train is only about half as far a walk.

Just bought my RT and GH shirts! If you spot a spiffy individual with a red camalbak and SILENTSHADOW459 across his back, it may well be me. Or one of my fanclub.

He's just trying to sucker other people into buying a shirt with his GT on it.
