TPH inspired me to get my lanyard from last year, and my just-arrived 3-day badge, do a little crafting and taping, and voila. I'm PAX-ready.

As a newbie to the PAX deal, from the photos I take it it's around now that the badges start to arrive? Also, I saw on both a PAX 12 but also a Halofest which I presumed was only last year; are your badges from last year just beneath?

Yes, passes are slowly trickling out. They generally send them in waves, so don't be discouraged if you don't get yours right away. As for the Halo Fest badges, yes, those are last years. We just wanted to be SUPER cool and keep them on the lanyards.

So does the panel schedule come out soon since PAX is only a month away?

I got bored and started going through the PAX forums for events to do. You should go there in case the convention hall is not enough to fill your fancy.

I will personally try to attend some of the board game tournaments (Munchkin) and Assassins Ball.

Myr and I will definitely be attending the Munchkins tournament too. We're going to bring our Magic decks, but since we have old cards it'd be more of a fun, pick-up game than a serious tournament.

Terrorists use cameras as bombs or a triggering device, that's probably why they made you take a few pictures, to make sure it's an actual camera.

So...how hard would it be to move around on crutches or something of that sort at PAX because I'm having some foot surgery later this week?
