Yeh, I've done it as well. There's definitely a sweet spot when it comes to any kind of launching. Hitting it consistently though is not so easy.

probably over the next few months matt, but thats just speculation, im sure bungie is still working on getting the game type polished, i kinda hope they make a new logo for it, like the grifball logo but with a sangahli skull instead of a ball, but thats doubtful..... also does anyone know if there even looking at jetpack grifball as an option, how about blarg pack, lol just cuase the elits jetpacks look cooler....

i bet though if they do include jet packs they'll pick either jump jet() or jet pack(unlimited usage) but not both. my preference is jet pack, it truely adds to the game play, where jump jets just basically give you a higher jump, we can do that with low grav settings and higher jump settings.

i havent gotten to play hand egg yet, but the concept intrigues me.......

one thing i would love to see is a button, or a combo of sorts, that gives you an acutual pass, like melee plus right or left trigger, but that probably wont happen, though a little extra distance on the pass would be nice.

Overshield...are you crazy? LOL Ball Runners are already invincible as it is, at least when I try to kill them, if I have the bomb its a different story, I die almost immediately.

The runner actually does move faster than the other players. He moves 50% faster, which is the same as it was in Halo 3.

In Reach, we got rid of the overshield for the runner but instead gave him increased damage and weapon resistance. When we tried it with the overshield, the runner could only kill two attackers before dying, almost without exception. Now that we've given him damage and weapon resistance, he can stiff arm many more attackers in a row, if his timing is good.
