For those that never saw my post in the chatbox, I figured it's about time I post something here as well. I received a message from 343 several days ago letting me know that they're aware of the issue and are working on it. So far I don't believe it's been fixed, but hopefully they'll have it fixed before the next matchmaking update. Though I have a feeling they may wait til then. Hopefully I'm wrong.

And because I've heard whispers, those who think the credits were nerfed because of stat padding, YOU ARE VERY MUCH WRONG. I asked 343 to apply a double win bonus to the playlist, which clearly failed.

Also, for the record. I didn't ask bs angel to make the statement she did in the weekly bulletin about stat padding. She did that without my knowledge, though I did LOL when I read it. I'm assuming however that's the reason why some people believe we intentionally messed with the credits.

This may be weird but I have noticed the spike in Stat Padding as a result of this. Teams hold the bomb until last second and score which in the end they will win and get there Stat Padding medals. It's mainly a bummer when you have a whole team spawn killing you so you're kind of done for. When it's 2 people well thats easy to get out of.

Lol, wow. I guess she wasn't kidding when she said they doubled the credits to make up for their error. Don't expect it to last forever though, so take advantage of that while you can :)

So, I don't know if anyone else has experienced this since most hub people play in groups, but stat padding has actually gotten worse since the credits have increased. I usually play matchmaking by myself and take my chances with randoms, and since the change, neither team scores until the end of the round because not only did the performance bonus get increased for winning teams, but the game complete was also risen exponentially. As I play alone, I have a difficult time scoring by myself, and have been playing full 15 minute games because the other players know that this will get them about 10,000 credits a game. More often than not, I've been having to sit in the corner while both teams refuse to score until the end. Just thought I'd let you all know what the "randoms" have been doing with this new change.

Well just increasing the performance bonus alone as originally intended would have also encourage statpadding as it's safer to get 1 goal and then just hold the bomb for the remaining rounds than try to score and fail.

As I've mentioned, 343 took it upon themselves to double all credits, not just the win bonus, because of their original goof. I don't think it's something that it is permanent.

Best thing you can do is just go in with 1 extra person to ensure you can score/steal the bomb. Once a randy gets a hold of a bomb, it's destined that we take it from them lmao. Yes, I've seen a lot more stat-padders, but that has given me the opportunity to play the chicken dance through my headset for proximity voice as I'm hammering away at them and pissing them off. I'm sure this will be how it is until Halo 4, and if I'm right, I guess just keep picking them apart. If anythuing, this will make the playlist very popular which could benefit our leagues :)
