Just to let everyone know that I'm updating the front two posts with the latest rules. Expect an announcement on the EGRA Summer 2012 Season very soon.

Yay ben! Why dont you tell the lovely racing folk who frequent this page all about the summer season?

Alright then. Here's me confirming the EGRA Summer 2012 Season will start on Friday 29th of June. Those of you regulars to the forums will also notice that both Sev and I have a new EGRA logo in the top left corner of our signatures. This is to verify too that the 15 upcoming EGRA races will be exclusively mongoose racing. Mongooses as we've seen over the Spring 2012 Season encourage close wheel to wheel action, without the unpredictability that warthogs bring to the table. Secondly, alongside 15 races that will take place on Fridays at 8pm GMT, there will be three separate events that will also add towards your overall score and championship. These "Sev's Challenges" will be similar to the EGRA MX Challenge that I ran last season, with points being awarded for individual performances and whatnot. Overall there will be 18 events over the Summer 2012 Season, leading to a grand total of 180 points on offer if you manage to attend and win every single event (a man canon, there's your challenge). Signing up in this thread with your gamertag and grifball team from now until next Friday will allow for me to enter you into the Google Docs spreadsheet that we use for collecting the stats. You can find it here. In addition, the rules have now been updated on the front post, which explain about racing incidents, and the points system.

The EGRA Summer 2012 Season is split up into 4 different sections, 4 races, then a Sev's Challenge.
The schedule is as follows:

Round 4 - Monkey Island Raceway

Round 5 - Rockslide Paradise
Round 6 - Race on the Beach
Round 7 - Canyon Raceway
Round 8 - Player's Choice (Tracks 1-7)
Sev's Challenge 2
Round 9 - Montana Circuit
Round 10 - Greenwood Grove*
Round 11 - [Track TBA]
Round 12 - Coulee Crossing
Sev's Challenge 3
Round 13 - Diablo Dash*
Round 14 - Player's Choice (Tracks 1-13)
Round 15 - Blood Gulch Peninsula

Ben, Sev, I made an official rules page for you, if and when you want to change the rules just let me know and I will unlock it and/or edit it for you.

This should make it easier for everyone to find rules for both leagues.

I'm ready for this one tonight boys I've been gearing myself up with a run around Showdown. I was wondering what the best laptime recorded is so I can see where I am on the pace. I have a 0:43 but then I don't think I've ever held the best laptime

So what did Sev get then, he always has them
