Something cool I've learned: I'm taking a physiological psychology class and we've been learning all about the brain, neurons, stuff like that. Today we talked at proprioceptors and the cerebellum - basically two things responsible for guiding your body through space (so you don't walk into doors, off cliffs, etc).

So I'm on the metro and this woman just turns and slams her bag into my stomach. My witty retort? "Yo, your proprioception and cerebellum are fail."

Yeah, that's an old school zinger!

I write, I play in the dirt, and I get paid to fix trucks and anything else that moves. And no I won't work on your Honda.

Something cool I've learned: A Computer Science degree is one of the most highly recommended degrees to have if you plan on going into the video game industry, which I plan to do. So, if you want to get into the gaming industry on the programming side of things, Computer Science is definitely the way to go.
Also, something to keep in mind about Computer Science: MATH. If you don't like math, don't be a Computer Science major. If you have no interest in learning about things such as derivatives and other Calculus based math stuff, Computer Science is not for you.

I would share something cool I've learned about actual Computer Science material, but seeing as it is my first year in college, I really haven't gotten into much yet. Hopefully I'll be able to share something soon though!

I've always been the go-to person when it came to editing and peer-reviewing papers. I blame 3 years and an AP English Literature class with the strictest English teacher ever. However, I wouldn't be where I am now when it comes to my sentence structure, grammar, and writing skills without her guidance.

I hate math, but I'm determined to forge through it headstrong in order to get a computer science/programming/design degree.

My degree and career are in politics, so if anyone has questions about US government or history, feel free to ask.
