Building this was how I got through the internet-less Saturday I should have being Grifball

Also if this court has been posted here does that mean it's been approved and can be used as a home-court?

All maps posted here are approved for GGL. I don't think home-courts need any special approval though.

I think it's supposed to be the other way around. GGL maps don't need any special approval as you can use anything but home-courts need approval as they need to meet AGLA/EUGBL standards

There are under the Muffin regime, but we're just using the AGLA standards. If a court is good enough for the AGLA it's good enough for the EUGBL.

I'm putting home courts into the next league but that's why I need all this sorted out about home-courts and approval. Also if this is approved then I can use it as the JSG home court in the EUGBL :D

One of the reasons for confusion is that typically AGLA/EUGBL home courts are submitted in the RT forums by actual AGLA/EUGBL teams. I look at all maps posted there and work with the builder until the map is up to AGLA/EUGBL standards.

This forum is for general map submission with the intention of GGL members coming here and looking for alternative courts. The GGL has no approval process for courts posted here and it is up to players to test maps selected here prior to playing.

I never even knew there was a place on Rooster Teeth for submitting maps until today when I was making the rules for the EUGBL and I found the link in the AGLA rules. It appears the forum has been buried. It really needs to be pinned or something.

But does being posted here mean this map is AGLA/EUGBL standard or not? I'm still looking for this answer people

There is no approval process prior to posting in these forums. Some of the maps here have been approved for use and it is usually noted in the OP, or further down in the topic if it has been approved later in the process.

That's why I asking because when my last two maps got posted they'd gone through the approval process why this one was just thrown straight on here. And now I know. And knowing is half the battle.

Maps that are granted their own thread here are maps that are fully functioning maps with no issues. Maps for the AGLA must be approved by Nokyard. Like he said, GGL does not really have an approval process for the use of courts, but we would recommend only using courts from this forum when playing, or at least test a map before agreeing to play on it.

The reason this map was posted without any question is because there was no errors as far as I'm concerned. I don't go into excruciating detail when it comes to reviewing maps. I check that the basic setup for a Grifball game is there and is setup correctly, that's about it. I leave the rest of the feedback and error finding to the community. We make these threads for that. I used to ask the creator of the maps if it was the final version of the map before posting, but I've stopped doing that. Sometimes it would take weeks, hell even months for people to respond to that.

Anyways, this is a very nice looking map. Great job. :)

Also this could awkward after the "Final version" speech but I found a design error in the map while playing the map today and have edited it, meaning I have a new version of the map with the small error now fixed. Didn't effect the gameplay, just broke my heart a little.
