There might already be a thread for this...but

I AM SO EXCITED FOR MASS EFFECT, not to many of my "real life" friends are gamers and if they are-- they don't like Mass Effect... which doesn't seem possible.

I just want to get peoples thoughts on what you thing will happen, what kind if twists you think there will be and things like that.

Mass Effect is an awesome series and I can't wait for the third installment. I hope the storyline is as good or better than ME2. There is a thread about ME3 here, but it hasn't been active in a while.

The Reapers are coming OMG run!

I want to see the Rachni do something cool/worthwhile. Don't much care if they are helping me or joining the reapers/going back to their old ways; I just want that choice (and other more random choices) from the previous games to matter more than somebody sending an email or saying hi.

Yeah Yeah! YOU KNOW there will be Rachni-- I dont think that crazy possessed asari would have spoken to you on Illium telling you "THEEY WILLL BE READY BAAHAHAHA" if they weren't... I think that they wont really show up-- until in one of the epic battles they will swoop in and safe Shep.

I am kind of nervous for the alternate ending where Shepard dies heroically.... because it means that she is gone forever, so sad.

Like Captain Kirk, Shephard will save the galaxy and hook up with one of the girls (unless you play as the female Shep, then one of the guys). Hopefully with a lot less mining involved.

That will be the end if you do everything right...

OO OOOOO Also, I think that Admiral Hackett is falling to the collectors as we speak... Kaidan/Ash on Horizon then the new DLC... Ooooo sugar... something is happening there.

I would imagine with all the different story lines throughout the series the ultimate amount of possible endings will be quite vast.

If nothing else it should be pretty interesting to see how it all plays out.

I wonder if they'll include a legit ending for if Shepherd loses the war, rather than just a game over screen. I think I remember Chrono Trigger doing an ending like that, if you fail at the right time.

I am sure Mission failures will happen a lot more and the mission failures mean reapers killed everyone on the planet, but Shep wont die until the end...

i don't know, playing on insanity almost guarantees Shep will die at some point, and probobly often..lol

With the Kasumi dlc, if you asked the guard more that two times to get into the bedroom and you haven't hacked communications and found the note from Cheif Roe then you have to go in the violent way. So I think there will be way for you to fail missions-- I just think that the consequences will be more storyline.

I'm just glad that the LotSB dlc let me get back with Liara. Miranda wasn't too happy lol.

I usually play an adept... so I dont have much use for her. :P

I have 2 characters one of which being a paragon infiltrator and an evil adept. I had angry evil adept sex with Jack and I was kind of hoping that it would be different than any other class you know? Considering we are both adepts and jerks. Turns out I thought wrong.
