This is the community thread for Thursday night vanilla teams. Feel free to negotiate schedules, discuss disputes, and arrange scrimages here. Let's keep it civil folks; remember the first rule of Grifball.

I'll start off with these two topics:
1. Who here participates in the Hubcast live feed (tinychat)? If most of us do, we might just move our game times around to accomodate that. Otherwise, if only a couple of us do that, then we'll just have to miss the live Hubcast this season. :(
2. Who wants to play something other than Vanilla? Maybe some Blargball or JPGB? I'm really curious to see a real 4-on-4 game of Bansheeball. If anyone is agreeable to this, I have gametypes and maps downloaded from the forum.

No hubcast for me.

I'm pretty sure we'd be up for some blargball at least, that's the best gametype.

Hard Liquor Chasers (Hero0fCant0n) and Red Ray (runNOKYARDrun): We (What the Grif) need to play you next week. Since I will be away on business travel during Week 5 and 6, I was hoping we could make next week's games double-headers. What say you? One Vanilla, one Blargball?

Fun games last night.

Although, i'm slightly regretting playing the blargball game over since it wasn't 9 rounds, turns out we would have gotten 3 achievable in it. haha

Yes- much fun. ACHunter thinks if we weren't working on Half and Half, we could have given you a run for your money on Hand Egg. Would you like a friendly re-match (no GGL stakes) during make-up week if you have no make-up games?

And weirdly enough, during all of our games last night where we went for Half and Half, someone managed to get one kill with the wrong weapon (a different person each game). I'm reviewing the footage this weekend, because none of us remember using the wrong weapon.

Thanks to HLC for the fun double-header last night. My travel plans fell through, so we can still play Red Ray at the normal schedule (since we made up our week 2 game last night). See you week 5!

I would definitely be up for a friendly HE re-match.
Almost positive we won't have any games during make-up, so there shouldn't be any problem.

It's certainly strange, i'm about to check ours, hopefully the game just misread the kills.

While the Bungie.net stats I looked at showed we failed, the Hub achievables page still gave us credit. Go figure.

After checking out films it seems that we should have gotten them.
It appears that sometimes when you cancel with an opponent you get a kill with the weapon they are wielding... Which is glitchy. heh.

Wow. That sounds like a case where you should send the film to the admins and ask for your credit.
