Hello everyone,
I am a juinor in high school and my class recently apply for National Honors Society. For those who dont know what it is, it is basically an elite group of people who very well in school, but its by GPA the grade point average. It also requires some community service, leadership experience, jobs and extra curricular activities. I was fortunate to recieve this accomplishment. This is just a really big thing for me since I was the first in my family.

I just wanted to share this with you guys and ask what accoplishments or goals have you been able to achieve in your life time. It would be nice to see how well our community is and what we have accoplished individually and even as a community. It give the Hub a good image I think as well.

I encourage anyone to post somthing and be proud of it. This was a really big thing for me, so why not let everyone know and be proud of it? It doesnt have to be in real life either, Maybe you hit your first killionair! I am interested in seeing what the community has done which im sure thiere will be plenty to talk about.

I am also in NHS, which is cool, but I'm proudest of being the top Knowledge Bowl kid in my school (or maybe even my region.)

Knowledge Bowl is like Jeopardy for High School students.
It starts off with a written test of 60 questions. You get a point for each correct one. A decent score at your average meet is 35-45. Awesome teams score up to 54. Then you go into oral answer rounds. There are three teams to a room, and four people per team. Teams can buzz in at any time and collaborate among themselves about who will answer. The questions can be about anything from Government to Mythology to Binary Math to Toxins. A decent score for a 50-question round is 14 or 15 (assuming you're playing against people as good as your team.)

I usually score 11 or so points myself, which is pretty good. So, yeah. There's my achievement.

My proudest achievement might be the traitor award for most betrayals overall last season.

Congrats on making NHS, one of my wrestlers also made NHS this year and I know how difficult it is to be chosen as well as how significant the achievement is. Congrats again

I was in NHS way back when and it's definitely an honor. My greatest accomplishment though, geez, I'd have to say having an awesome community filled with people like you guys. ... Either that or marrying Kal. One of those two.

Recently and for the first time I managed to successfully barrel roll in a Dash game in matchmaking, sailing past the opposite team for the score. That was sweet.

@Goosechecka lol, thats nice to hear both about us the community and about Kal. I am happy for you guys and definitely for this wonderful community, so thank you very much for that.

One of my greatest accomplishments was winning a Tai Kwon Do tournament as a yellow belt. I had non professional training and entered a tournament as i was starting actual classes, I won 6 rounds and the finals beating kids who were about to receive their black belts.

Well I was quite proud of myself for going to the State Competition in FBLA for Technology Concepts. Me and some friends are also designing our own game for FBLA.
