I'm about 95% sure that NYP will take home the crown this year in the vanilla bracket. As for Dash, I don't know many teams but my bet is it's gonna be either HBG or 4G1B.

My bet is on NYP for vanilla for sure, and I haven't played against HBG before, but I hear they're amazing. So I'm going to have to agree with Liono and say either HBG 4G1B

If yall want to talk about intimidating stats... I finished a game with 9 goals, 0 kills, and 4 deaths all from plants

I'll wait to give my playoff opinion when I see the brackets

How heck did you only have 4 deaths from 9 goals? Were you guys playing with the old gametype where explosions don't work properly?

It was on AGLA gametype for 9r

Yep, that explains it. Bungie released a new version of the assault gametype at some point that fixed the explosion thing so that everyone could see them, not just host. That's what we've been using for a while now in the GGL as well as in matchmaking.

I would have to wait till I see the actual bracket, but this about sums it up for me too.

If HBG can field the line-up of TacoPizzaHunter, Tinytim3501, AcePrado, Killlerz at least once during this postseason I smell a blowout.

The new assault gametype? You can just grab the WL2012 version of the GGL gametype. It can be tweaked for 9 rounds and such

The nice thing about playoffs is it's free scheduling, so we should be able to find a time each week where ALL of HBG can get on.
