I am reading Space Chronicles by Neil deGrasse Tyson. I recommend this for those who are interested in all things Space. Also, this is not just a book about the science of space, he does a good job of entertaining those who aren't as dedicated or interested as some people.

I'm currently switching between Halo Glasslands and The Political Brain. Really enjoying both of them!

I'm currently reading Halo: Fall of Reach (LOVE it! I keep hearing good things about the book series, so I'm excited to be reading it!) and determined to finish A Dance with Dragons. Last summer my reading list was the Game of Fire and Ice by George R.R. Martin (yay Game of Thrones!) and made it quickly thru the first four. Then...I stalled out on the 5th book. I have the last third of the book to go, so I'm attempting to slog through it.

Totally off topic, but I just wanted to say that it's awesome that Allikat is from Tucson!

LOL why is that awesome? Besides the fact that while people are getting snow, I'm rolling around in my tank top and shorts in 80 degree heat? HAHAHAHAHA Yes, best part of living here...

Very much looking forward to being done with this "First Aid" book in about 2.5 weeks. Definitely wouldn't recommend it to normal people.

I am now on The Two Towers in the Lord of the Rings series. Tolkien is a literary genius.

Good choice! Have you ever read his books before? I read them back in high school and am contemplating starting it up again. Are you finding it hard to get thru them?

I'm still trying to finish up Halo: Glasslands. Got about 50-60 pages left. I also started reading The Hunger Games trilogy. A co-worker lent me the first 2 and I read through them within a week. I should be reading the third one this week. LOVE the series!

HA it just hit 100 degrees here on Sunday...we officially "broke the ice". So yeah...looking for a pool now! LOL

I finished The Hunger Games about a month or so ago. It's an AMAZING series! Oooo, wait till you get to the last one. I have to say, these are some well written books and I'm looking forward to seeing how the movies play out. I'm still waiting to see the first one, but everyone has said it follows the book pretty accurately. As far as Halo...I haven't made it past Fall of Reach. It'll happen though! The book is fascinating, but it seems to be going on forever.

Yesterday was crazy hot. So weird when it goes from 70's & 80's to over 100 within 1 week. The weather here is bipolar... As for the books going into the movie, I just saw the movie yesterday and I was fairly pleased. They did change quite a few things and left a lot out, but all of the main and important points stayed the same. Overall a great movie
