As “Echoes Within,” the third season of Halo Infinite, starts, a cutscene from one of the upcoming story events has been leaked online. The leaked footage shows Hieu Dinh, a SPARTAN-IV supersoldier, and Iratus. It also seems to confirm that the “Infected” in Halo Infinite were leaked before. It is thought that the story event “Site Unseen” will happen between May 2 and May 16, but 343 Industries has not given an official update.
When Season 3 comes out, Halo Infinite gets three new maps, a new weapon, and the Shroud Screen, which are all big changes and additions. Also, a Community Collection Playlist has been added so that players can access maps and modes made by the community. “Mindfall,” the first of two storylines in the new season, is available to play now and will last until March 21.
Since it came out in November 2021, Halo Infinite has been through a lot. Some of Microsoft’s 343 employees were let go recently, which has hurt its development even more. Fans seem to be interested in the game again, especially after the success of Halo Infinite’s Forge beta, which saw more than a million creations. Even though we don’t know what will happen to the franchise after Echoes Within, the fact that new content is coming out for the latest season is a good sign for many fans of the franchise.
